I’ve got a bran’ new θεριζοαλωνιστική μχανή, an’ I’ll give you the key

I’m off to a play reading this evening. If all goes according to plan, I shall fulfill a lifelong ambition to be a Wurzel, albeit an ancient Greek one.

    Bloody ‘ell! That brings back memories!! The Wurzels are playing Glastonbury festival this year.. same stage as Shakin’ Stevens i believe.

    It’s every young man’s dream to find respectable employment as a Wurzel.

    It did go well. I’m glad I went with the comic voices, because I ended up being given a bunch more bit parts at the last minute, some of whom had to talk to each other.

    This was just a one-off reading for a friend who translates Greek plays, but he’s keen to have me back for his next proper production in November.
